Hannover Re expects steady 2008 outlook
HANNOVER Re chief executive Willy Zeller forecast a reduction in net profits from €734m ($1.1bn) in 2007 to €600m this year, but added: “The 2007 figure was influenced by a one-off tax effect. Without that, our profit was €569m, so we expect an increase for 2008.”
