CHEMOIL Energy has appointed industry veteran Clyde Michael Bandy, pictured, as chief executive to succeed Robert Chandran who died last week. Mr Bandy, 59, has 35 years’ experience in the oil industry and has been an independent director at Chemoil since 2006. Previously, he worked for Texaco for 27 years and was president of global trading for Chevron prior to his retirement in 2004.
