Lack of training and crew mistakes led to injuries on Crown Princess
HUMAN error and lack of training in the use of integrated navigation systems were at the root of an incident on Princess Cruises’ 116,000 gt Crown Princess last year in which nearly 300 passengers and crew were injured, some seriously, according to a report by the US National Transportation Safety Board, writes Sandra Speares.
