THE tanker Voge Trust, laden with 20,000 tonnes of crude oil, listed in the Likoni channel near Mombasa, Kenya, yesterday, reportedly after developing mechanical problems, writes David Osler. A report from the local Lloyd’s Agent suggests that the ship has taken in water after sustaining hull damage and could be at risk of sinking. The 2009-built, 38,341 dwt Liberia-flag vessel is associated with Germany’s H. Vogemann. AP
