MISC has sold off four single-hulled chemical tankers for $14m. The Malaysian shipowner has sold four 29,000 dwt chemical tankers built between 1989 and 1991 as part of a strategy to phase out its single-hulled fleet. The vessels Kvarven and Stolzen were sold to Raffles Shipping International, while the Varden was sold to Eugena International, and the Skarven to Marianna Shipping.
