Piracy - September 29
Istanbul, Sep 29 -- The owners managing director Mr. Fatih Caliskan of bulk carrier Horizon 1 has stated to local press today, they have reached an agreement with the pirates in respect of the release of the vessel. The Horizon 1 is expected to be released either this evening or early tomorrow morning. No details have been provided regarding the payment method or amount of ransom figure. Reportedly, all the crew's health conditions are been regularly updated to the crew's families by the owners. -- Correspondent. (See issue of Sep 9.)
