Carriers plan reefer energy levy

FRENCH line CMA CGM and affiliates Delmas, MacAndrews, ANL, US Lines and Cheng Lie are to introduce a reefer consumption surcharge that will be implemented in all trades from October 1, with the exception of all US inbound and outbound trades where the levy will come in two weeks’ later, writes Janet Porter.
