Heeding the populist view
IT IS understandable why Swire Shipping agreed to pay A$10m ($8.3m) over its maximum legal liability for the Pacific Adventurer oil spill. But, with full sympathy to Swire and its decision to put the fight behind it, we are left with a feeling that battle should have gone on.
