HANJIN Shipping is to start buying slots on a service between south Asia and the US east coast. From July 28 Hanjin will be chartering slots on APL’s All Waters Suez service connecting south Asia with the US east coast. The company said it provide its customers with better access to Sri Lanka, southern India, Bangladesh and Middle East markets. The service will also reduce Hanjin’s Singapore to New York transit to 21 days from 29 days.
