Keep it simple
DEVON is about to lose a major tourist attraction. Within a few weeks, the final remains of the MSC Napoli will have gone. The seabed will be swept for any last pieces from the wreck, and the barges that have been anchored around the containership since January 2007 will take the metal scrapped from the stern section to Rotterdam. The Jurassic Coast, a UN World Heritage Site, will be back to as it was before the MSC Napoli started to break up in the middle of the English Channel and the decision taken to deliberately beach the vessel in Lyme Bay.
