THERE has been a lot of criticism of the Australian health authorities for their robust (some suggest unreasonable) response to ships arriving in their ports with cases of the dreaded swine flu on board. You could argue that after several years dealing with Norovirus and other winter vomiting complaints among passengers, there is probably no greater expertise to be found than there is on board your average giant cruiseship.
