Pollution - May 16
London, May 16 -- A press report, dated May 13, states: Some 200,000 litres of crude oil has leaked from the Kinder Morgan tank farm in Burnaby in British Columbia, reports said. The leak was contained and none of it spilled into surrounding residential areas or the nearby Burrard Inlet. Measures were apparently successfully carried out to contain the leak inside a lined tank base. According to Kinder Morgan there are at present no dangers to health or air quality despite a discernible smell of crude oil in the area.
