Norway rethinks newbuilding rules
THE Norwegian government has relaxed its ship registration rules for newbuildings. The changes allow owners to register hulls built overseas, but then shipped to Norwegian shipyards, to be registered on the country’s shipbuilding register, writes Craig Eason.
