Fires & Explosions - March 23

London, Mar 23 -- A press report, dated Mar 22, states: An aircraft was destroyed in a fire inside a hangar yesterday afternoon at Tradewind Airport. Amarillo Fire Department District Chief Jim Henson said the cause was under investigation. No one was in the hangar when the fire started about 1530 hrs, he said. Officials did not immediately know how much damage the blaze caused. It took about eight minutes to control. The fire did not spread to any other items or aircraft in the hangar, Henson said.
