Hong Kong operators need help, not platitudes
WITH exports falling, empty boxes piling up on both sides of the border and laid-off logistics specialists cabbing to make ends meet, the time should be ripe for Hong Kong government help for the logistics industry. But anyone hoping for assistance would have been sadly disappointed hearing last Thursday’s budget speech by Financial Secretary John Tsang.
