Gas Market Report: 22 January 2009
NORTH WEST EUROPE: Large Cargoes: As the effects of previous cold weather continues to keep storages busy replacement tons are still being sought by the buyers. This has led to several cargoes changing hands recently for early February delivery which has maintained prices levels in the USD490s. It is thought that further buying may also imminent to secure tons up to mid Feb, after that then the market is expecting that demand and therefore prices should start to ease.
