Schenker to avoid Rostock for rail traffic
DEUTSCHE Bahn’s logistics unit DB Schenker is re-routing its rail traffic between Germany and Scandinavia to eliminate the sea connection between Rostock and Trelleborg. Rail cargo to and from Scandinavia will be transported only via the sea route Trelleborg-Sassnitz and a fixed link connection across the Öresund, writes Patrick Hagen.
