Panama calls on its vessels to avoid using arms if attacked
THE Panama Maritime Authority, the body in charge of the world’s largest merchant marine fleet, has urged ships flying the Panamanian flag to desist from efforts to defend themselves by carrying arms aboard while transiting some of the areas most prone to piracy, writes Rainbow Nelson.
