Omega escapes Thai liability
BERMUDA-domiciled Omega, which is pursuing a partial offer from Mark Byrne’s Haverford (Bermuda), has reported a $6m rise in its net loss estimate as a result of 2011’s H1 catastrophes, but said that it did not expect material losses as a result of the floods in Thailand.
